A new tour of the Château des Baux-de-Provence!
The "My beautiful castle" tour developed by the Fondation Culturespaces since the summer of 2022 offers a fun and interactive discovery of the Château des Baux-de-Provence and allows visitors to understand its history, from its construction to today.
Overlooking the famous village of Les Baux-de-Provence, the Château des Baux is an ancient medieval fortress built on a rocky spur. The plateau of the castle offers a splendid panorama on the vineyards and olive groves which inspired many painters and poets such as Cézanne or Mistral.
Knights, troubadours or peasants in turn, children will learn about the codes of the Middle Ages thanks to the games and riddles that punctuate the different stages of the tour thanks to a visit plan that is given to them on the spot.
The visit of the castle is free and carried out in autonomy. It can be combined with a visit to the Carrières des Lumières, as part of our "Art Immersion" artistic and cultural education program.
