Culture for Children inauguration evening
The change of name and status is official and effective
On Wednesday 22 November, we gathered together our patrons, partners and friends to launch the Culture for Children during an unforgettable evening in the hall of the Atelier des Lumières.
The evening was an opportunity to celebrate the opening of this new chapter and to reiterate the importance of artistic and cultural education for all children. The partners, patrons and friends of the former Culturespaces Foundation joined us in the exceptional setting of the Atelier des Lumières, decked out for the occasion in the Culture for Children logo.
The evening was punctuated by performances from two dance companies (Sauf le dimanche and DK-BEL, who work with us), digital creations by children projected into the Great Hall (produced during our experimental project), and a screening of the exhibition "Destination Cosmos, l'ultime défi".
This screening provided an opportunity to announce the launch of a project that will use virtual reality to bring the exhibition into the rooms of children in hospital: "Art immersion: VR in hospital".
